Local browsing and workspaces
The desktop browser stores workspace configuration and browsing data on your device. Websites opened in Yuki receive ordinary web requests and handle their own cookies and content. Separate partitions keep website storage apart; they do not hide your network identity from a website.
Your Yuki account
Account features use your email, profile and authentication information. The account center shows linked sign-in providers and active sessions, including device and connection details. The server stores password hashes rather than plaintext passwords.
Cloud sync and sharing
Using cloud sync sends the supported workspace data to the account service. Sharing sends the content you choose through the sharing service and creates access for recipients. Treat a share link as access to the shared material and avoid including private URLs or sensitive content.
AI and connected devices
An AI provider may receive the prompts and context sent through the configured AI feature. Check that provider’s data practices. Companion uses pairing and connection services; file transfer depends on the route and compatible device versions. Do not assume a cloud feature has the same data boundary as a local note.
Payments and essential storage
Checkout uses the payment provider offered for the selected product. The account service stores order, subscription and payment-status records. Site sign-in uses session and request-protection cookies. Your explicit language choice is stored in your browser; account language is stored in your account profile.
Controls available to you
You can review and revoke sessions, manage linked providers, change your password and request account deletion in Account settings. Active subscriptions must be resolved before account deletion. Removing a local workspace or clearing website storage is separate from deleting a cloud account.
